Mo Industrial Park

Mo Industrial Park is an infrastructure company which facilitates the leading industrial hub in Northern Norway, and among the biggest industrial clusters Norway. The Park is home to 108 companies (2500 jobs), that in sum account for 7 billion NOK in turnover (2016), whereas 5,5 billion NOK are export oriented. About 70 per cent of the products from Mo Industrial Park ends up in global markets. Celsa, Elkem, Ferroglobe are among the largest companies located in the park.

The park has the ambition to become a green industrial park of world class. Their competitive advantages are access to large quantities of renewable energy and excellent access to water. In addition, the park has well-established infrastructure for logistics and data networks.

Celsa Armeringsstål

CELSA Armeringsstål is the reinforcing steel producer of the Group in the Nordic region and one of Norway’s largest recycling companies. Thanks to the use of hydroelectrical power as basic energy resource, CELSA Armeringsstål has acquired a high environmental profile.

Elkem Rana AS

Elkem is a company that produces silicones, silicon, alloys for the foundry industry, carbon and micro silica. Headquartered in Oslo, the company’s 31 production sites (one of them in Mo I Rana) and extensive network of sales offices and agents around the world ensure proximity to customers and access to attractive end markets.
They are committed to stay at the forefront of technology, advancing the production of silicon, silicones and carbon materials and to create new, innovative and green solutions and business models that promote a sustainable future.

Rana Gruber

Rana Gruber AS is one of Norway’s largest companies in mining and iron ore processing and one of the key companies in Nordland.
The products are based on local natural mineral resources, upgraded, and tailored for applications and are exported to customers worldwide. They serve primarily steel producers and the chemical industry.

MOMEK Group

MOMEK Group is a provider of a wide variety of services and products and operates across several markets: such as process industry, contractor, mining, oil and gas, aquaculture, renewable energy and infrastructure.
Momek is situated in four countries in Europe, with headquarters in Mo i Rana, Norway.

FREYR Battery

FREYR is an emerging producer of clean battery solutions. In Mo I Rana, Freyr’s giant factory will consist of four factories. The first to be build, is a pilot plant.
Fuelled by low-cost hydro and wind energy, FREYR designs and manufactures high-density and cost-competitive lithium-ion batteries with a reduced carbon footprint, for the rapidly growing global markets for electric mobility, stationary energy storage, marine and aviation applications.
Freyr is looking for candidates to be part of the team to design and build the first lithium-ion battery cell giga factories in Norway.

Westcon Helgeland

Westcon Helgeland was established in 1987 in Nesna municipality, and the yard comprises a large covered dry dock, extensive fabrication halls, and a proper deep-sea quay. The business takes care of ship repairs, fabrication of ship modules and subsea equipment for the oil and gas industry, as well as fabrication and maintenance work or the fish farming industry. For instance, Westcon Helgeland has, among other things, delivered underwater constructions for Aker and Aibel. They deliver tailor-made products in steel, stainless steel, and aluminium, according to the customer’s drawings and specifications.

Ferroglobe Mangan Norway

Ferroglobe is one of the world’s largest producers of ferrous and silicon manganese.
The company “Ferroglobe Mangan Norge AS” is located in Mo Industrial Park and produces manganese alloys in two smelting furnaces with a capacity of 120,000 tons a year.
