Skiing since 1979
“The blue road” race has a solid history that goes back to 1979.
Blå vegenløpet, Northern Norway’s largest touring race, saw the light of day for the first time in 1979.
While the race has traditionally had participants almost exclusively from the Rana area, in the last 10 years we have experienced an increasing influx of elite runners and increasingly large international participation. Czechs, Finns, Swedes, Russians, French, Germans, Italians, Spaniards, Danes, Icelanders and Austrians have helped make the race an international folk festival.
You decide if you would like to ski for 50 km, 26 km, 15 km or 10 km – or just cheer the skiers on as they pass in the route or at the finish line in Klokkerhagen.
