In the last couple of years more and more large battery projects in Norway have become known. This is a completely new industry to Norway and many have referred to it as a new green industrial adventure. FREYRs battery cell factory in Mo i Rana, GIGA Arctic, will recuire over 600 employees with a battery-relevant education.
To meet this demand from the industry, the trade schools were tasked with creating a trade school education towards the battery industry. This has resulted in a study which is first of its kind.
The study provides relevant competences for that can be directly applied in your work. The education will be based on specific issues the production processes in the battery industry.
The program is a period of two years and is an weekly online course combined with some physical attendance in different parts of Norway. Some travel is there to be expected.
The adminission requirements is a certificate of apprenticeship within electrophage, technology or logistics, or five years relevant work experience.
